He was born in Tivar, in a family originally from Ish\u00ebm of Durr\u00ebs, in 1922. For economic reasons, he left school and worked as an electrician. He took part in the resistance of April 7, 1939 against the fascist occupation of Albania. He was accepted into the ranks of the Albanian Communist Party since its formation. Member, from the beginning, in guerrilla units of Tirana, carried out daring actions and assassinations.
