Arben Shaka has passed away, an actor of humor, director, master of pantomime, and screenwriter of several animated films. He was born in Tirana in 1952. Arben Shaka had a career spanning around 33 years, creating in the national circus, in variety theater, on television, in cinematography, etc. He began his artistic career in 1966, playing the role of the driver in the pantomime “The Driver and the Passenger.” At the age of 17, in 1968, he started his professional career on the stage of the Tirana Estrada Theater. The artistic inclinations of Shaka were primarily for theatrical pantomime and musical couplets, where he shares a commonality with the beautiful art of the circus. Through hard work, much sweat, and passion, Arben Shaka managed to be successful in the Circus and the Tirana Estrada. The film “The Circus in the Village” (1977), in which Arben Shaka played the role of Agroni, was a success, but he had many other roles, both in television variety shows and on stage with complete success. He participated in a film for the first time in 1969 in “Why Does This Drum Fall.” He then continued in the second film in 1972, in “The Odyssey of Fans,” and in the same year appeared in the film “The Captain” as one of the youths from the village.
