From 1950 to 1952, she completed a montage course in Moscow and began working at the \u201cShqip\u00ebria e Re\u201d Film Studio, where she established the montage sector in 1952. She worked on documentary and chronicle films and, from 1966, served as a montage director for feature films. Xhanfize Keko became well-known through her films that naturally and authentically address themes and the world of children, such as: \u201cTingujt dhe f\u00ebmij\u00ebt\u201d (1970), \u201cA. B. C. &#8230; Zh\u201d (1971), \u201cMimoza llastica\u201d (1973), \u201cBeni ec\u00ebn vet\u00eb\u201d (1975), \u201cTinguj lufte\u201d (1976), \u201cTomka dhe shok\u00ebt e tij\u201d (1977), \u201cPartizani i vog\u00ebl Velo\u201d (1980), \u201cKur po xhirohej nj\u00eb film\u201d (1981), and \u201cTaulanti k\u00ebrkon nj\u00eb mot\u00ebr\u201d (1984). Her body of work includes around 18 documentary and chronicle films and 12 feature films, some of which have received awards and medals at film festivals both domestically and internationally. She received the First-Class Republic Award. She passed away in 2007.
