The “Massacre against the Bogujevci Family” occurred in Podujev\u00eb, where 16 Albanian civilians from the Bogujevci and Duriqi families were executed by members of the Serbian paramilitary unit “Shkorpion.” On that tragic day, the “Shkorpion” unit forcibly removed the Bogujevci family and their guests from their home and led them to a nearby garden. In total, 19 people, including children, women, and the elderly, were taken. The Serbian paramilitary unit, consisting of 15 members, then opened fire on the defenseless civilians, executing them on the spot. Remarkably, five of the victims survived the massacre, including 13-year-old Saranda Bogujevci and four of her young cousins. Some members of the “Shkorpion” unit responsible for the crime were later prosecuted and convicted in a Serbian court.
