{"id":8270,"date":"2026-04-07T00:19:25","date_gmt":"2026-04-07T00:19:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/albheritage.wpadmin.ch\/1970\/01\/01\/third-lybeniq-massacre\/---759ceb7d-7caf-4627-836c-b5ab1bf64c76"},"modified":"2026-04-07T00:19:25","modified_gmt":"2026-04-07T00:19:25","slug":"third-lybeniq-massacre","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/albheritage.wpadmin.ch\/en\/1970\/01\/01\/third-lybeniq-massacre\/","title":{"rendered":"Third Lybeniq Massacre"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The &#8220;Third Lybeniq Massacre&#8221; took place, a massacre by the military and police forces of Serbia, committed against the civilian inhabitants of the village of Lybeniq near Peja and around it. A few days after the second massacre (April 1, 1999), in the place called Stanet of Beli in the mountains of Lybeniq, the civilians who were trapped and looking for rescue, were surrounded by Serbian military units, in which case dozens of civilians were killed. Among them, 9 residents of Lybeniq, 18 from Raushiqi, 10 from Bucan and some others from other villages of Peja and De\u00e7an, killing them, cutting off their heads and throwing them into the cliff.
