Dervish Biba an actor and director was born in Qaf\u00eb-Murre, Peshkopi. He graduated from pedagogical high school in 1960 and worked as a teacher for five years. From 1965 to 1969, he studied acting at the Higher Institute of Arts, specializing in drama. From January 1970 to 1973, he worked as an actor-director at the House of Culture “Haki St\u00ebrmilli” in Peshkopi. From 1973 until his retirement in 2002, he was an actor at the “Bylis” theater in Fier. Throughout his career, Dervish Biba performed around 70 roles, many of them lead roles, primarily in dramas and occasionally in comedies. His acting is characterized by a sensitivity fused with a logical approach to action, marked by self-restraint, a cautious disbelief in extreme reactions from his characters, a clear understanding of their emotional states, and occasional outbursts that reflect the internal motivations behind his performances.
