He graduated from the Academy of Arts for scenography in 1986 and that same year he started working at the National Theatre, until his forced departure in 2000. Many of the scenographies of the National Theatre&#8217;s productions bear his signature. \u00c7ala&#8217;s scenographies are known for their simplicity and prudence, featuring a straightforward visual language that conveys deep ideographic meaning.
