The “<\/span><\/span>Ran<\/span>c<\/span>e Massacre<\/span><\/span>” was a tragic event involving Serbian military and police forces targeting civilians in the Long Meadow of the village of <\/span>Grei<\/span>ç<\/span>evc<\/span>, in the municipality of <\/span>Suharek<\/span>e<\/span>. During remote shelling of civilian populations sheltered in the mountain area known as <\/span><\/span>Livadi<\/span> i<\/span> Gjuta<\/span><\/span>, between the villages of <\/span>Topilla<\/span> and <\/span>Grei<\/span>ç<\/span>evc<\/span>, Serbian forces attacked a convoy of fleeing civilians.<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The assault resulted in the death of the 11-member Asllani family when a cannonball grenade hit their tractor trailer, killing all family members, including 8 children <\/span>ran<\/span>ging in age from 6 months to 13 years. Three other individuals in the tractor were injured. On the same day, Serbian forces also executed an elderly person in the village of <\/span>Ran<\/span>c<\/span>e.
