In Tirana, Mirush Kabashi, theater and cinematographer, Merited Artist, passed away. He was born in Shkod\u00ebr, in 1948. He attended higher studies and graduated from the Academy of Arts (1970). He started working at the “Aleksand\u00ebr Moisiu” theater in Durr\u00ebs. In 1994, he moved to Albanian Television and from 2002 to the National Theatre. He has performed over 100 roles in the theater and 20 roles in cinematography. As an actor, mainly of the comic and satirical plan, he has created prominent figures, such as Shazivari in the film \u201cKoncert ne Vitin 1936\u201d (“Concert in 1936<\/i>“) (1978), Nikollaqi in the film \u201cKarnavalet\u201d (“Carnivals<\/i>“) (1980), Brahushi in the film \u201cDora e Ngrohte\u201d (“Warm Hand”) (1983 ), Socrates in \u201cThe True Apology of Socrates<\/i>\u201d) (1997), with which he also won the great prize “Golden Sphinx” at the 9th International Festival of Experimental Theater in Cairo (1997). In 1989 he was awarded as the Best Actor of the National Theater Festival and in 2002 he won the award for the best actor as a protagonist in the “Apolon 2002” Acting Festival. With his game, which stands out for originality, elegance and elaborate plasticity, Mirush Kabashi has embodied unique types from different social circles, from antiquity to today.
