Kastriot Muço was born in Tragjas of Vlora, participant of the Anti-Fascist National Liberation War, Hero of the People. He embraced communist ideas from his time in the commercial school in Vlorë. He organized anti-fascist demonstrations and became a member of the Communist Party of Albania immediately after its establishment. He was elected as the organizational secretary of the Regional Committee of the Communist Youth for Vlorë in 1942. Later, he served as the political commissar of the “Youth” detachment in the Vlorë region in 1943 and, after a few months, as the deputy commissar of the “Halim Xhelo” battalion. He was killed in combat against German Nazi forces at the Qafë Kiçoku pass in 1943. (In the photo: Kastriot Muço)
