Mark Çuni, martyr of the Catholic Church, was born in Rranxa of Bushati. He completed primary school in his hometown. Then he studied at the Albanian Pontifical Seminary. He was arrested on December 7, 1945 and imprisoned in Shkodër. He was sentenced to death on February 22, 1946. He was executed by firing squad in Shkodër in 1946. (Photo: Mark Çuni)
