During the fighting in Jezerc (Ferizaj), Nazim Terziu, a fighter of the Kosovo Liberation Army, a martyr, was killed. He was born in the village of Sllatinë in Lepenci, in 1977. In May 1998, he joined the Kosovo Liberation Army unit in Kaçanik, while two months later he went to Albania for military training and to be equipped with weapons. At the beginning of September, he returned to Kosovo, to the Kaçanik unit in Jezerc. On September 24, 1998, numerous Serbian military and police forces launched a major offensive against the Kosovo Liberation Army in the Nerodime Operational Zone. On September 28, 1998, from Nerodime, the Serbian army began to break through to Jezerc. The fighting took place face to face and several fighters of the Kosovo Liberation Army fell in this battle, including Nazim Terziu. (In the photo: Nazim Terziu)
