Tahir Demi, politician, was born in Filat of Chameria (Greece). Former chairman of the Executive Committee of Elbasan, tried with the “Cham” group of Teme Sejko. On May 15, 1961, with decision no. 5, the Supreme Court sentenced him for “treason against the motherland”, “for organizing and participating in armed gangs” and “for propaganda agitations”. He was sentenced to be shot, confiscation of property, loss of electoral rights for 5 years, removal of rank and decoration. He was executed in 1961. (In the photo: Tahir Demi)
