The first issue of the newspaper “Zëri i popullit” (“The People’s Voice”)(1922-1924), a political, economic and literary newspaper, was published in Korça. Discontinued at issue 96 (July 19, 1924). It reflected the democratic movements of the Korça district; supported private initiatives in civic and rural economies; protected the craftsmen and intellectuals of the city of Korça, raised problems of the development of education and national and civic culture, etc. (In the photo: Page of the newspaper “Zëri i Popullit“, year 1923.)
