Theodhori Mastora (1920–1944) was killed in the war against the German Nazis in Veruša, Montenegro. Participant of the Anti-Fascist National Liberation War, Hero of the People. He was born in Çatistë of Pogoni (Gjirokastër), in 1920. He was born in a family of Greek nationality. He was one of the first fighters against the invaders and their collaborators. Member of the Albanian Communist Party in 1942, commander of the “Thanas Ziko” battalion since its formation (1943), later battalion commander in the VIII Assault Brigade (1944). He showed skill and courage, especially in the battles for the liberation of Tirana and in Yugoslavia. (In the photo: Theodhori Mastora)
