The battle in Velike and Pepic (Montenegro)

Took place in the villages of Velike and Pepic (Montenegro), the decisive battle between the Albanians and Montenegrin wards for the protection of the Albanian provinces of Plava and Gucia from annexation by Montenegro. After days of bloody fighting, the Montenegrin forces were broken. This war had an echo that went beyond the borders of the Albanian lands and united the Albanians more around the League of Prizren.
