The Historical Museum of the city was inaugurated in Shkodër. The Historical Museum of Shkodra is located in a restored monumental house (a typical house of Shkodra, named “Oso Kuka”). The museum reflects the material culture of the city from the Neolithic period (5000 years ago) to the Middle Ages. In the museum there are valuable objects made in stone, metal and ceramics. It scientifically reflects the ethnocultural continuity of the indigenous Illyrian-Albanian population. The museum consists of the section of ethnography, archaeology, visual art and library.
