The emigrants of the Albanian colony of Constanta in Romania created the branch of the patriotic society “Bashkimi”. Eftimi Radi was elected chairman, vice-chairman Dr. Ibrahim Temo and secretary Johan Mihal Lehova. The branch had its own administration, seal, charter and developed a dense patriotic and cultural activity. The new society would remain one of the most important hearths of publishing books in the Albanian language. The books, prepared by hard-working patriots, came out one by one from its printery, and were sent to the four corners of Albania and the world, from America to China, thus spreading everywhere the great idea of an independent Albania.
