The Ministry of Education of Albania issued a circular, which required all schools in the country to sing the Anthem of the Flag before the start of classes. The circular required the performance of this rite seriously, staying true to the text and grades. The patriotic song “Rreth flamurit të përbashkuar” (“Around our flag we stand united”), with text written by Asdreni in 1912, in Bucharest, became the national anthem of Albania with the Declaration of Independence on November 28, 1912. The Korça choral group first learned the anthem, which was sung in Vlora on the occasion of the Declaration of Independence. Today, the content, score and use of the Albanian National Anthem are determined by law no. 8926, dated 22.07.2002. (In the photo: Albanian National Anthem)
