Pyramid schemes started their activity in Albania. The first was the company “Sudja”. On March 29, 1994, the rental company “Vefa” was founded, and 25 fraudulent companies sprang up like mushrooms after the rain, which former employees of the State Security mainly directed: Gjallica, Populli, Xhaferri, Cenaj, Kamberi, etc., which extorted about 1.2 billion dollars of Albanian savings, ruining and destabilizing Albania.
