Lazër Jubani, a Catholic cleric, linguist, historian, and archaeologist, brother of Simon Jubani passed away after being poisoned with arsenic by the State Security. He was born in Shkodër in 1924. He was arrested in 1947 and sentenced to 15 years in prison. After his release, he spent five more years in internment. (In the photo: Lazar Jubani during the mass.)
