The first issue of the newspaper “Zëri i Korçë” (1925-1931), an impartial political, literary, cultural, social and economic newspaper, was published in Korça. It came out regularly, twice a week; and continued until issue no. 591. It mainly reflected the contemporary life and developments of the city and district of Korça; it also dealt with issues of a national character, as well as from the history of the wars for freedom and independence and from the efforts for European civilization, etc. (In the photo: View from the city of Korça, 1925.)
