The Chancellery of the Emperor of Austria and the Apostolic King of Hungary, Franz Joseph I, granted a title in the name of the Albanian archbishop, Lazër Mjeda. Monsignor Mjeda, born in Shkodër, on March 6, 1869, in addition to his tireless clerical activity, was also noted for his patriotism expressed through the establishment of the “Agimi” literary society, which took over the publication of school textbooks of the time. Also, as a bishop, he built many church structures and school buildings. (In the photo: Title in the name of the Albanian archbishop, Lazër Mjeda.)
