Musa Juka, political activist, was born in Shkodër. He finished high school in his hometown. In 1900, he entered the service of the Ottoman administration in the finance office in Shkodër and in 1912, he became the office director. With the entry of Austro-Hungarian troops into Shkodra (1916), he was appointed mayor of Përlimtara (municipality). He was elected Mayor of Shkodra in 1921. In April 1917, he was a member of the Albanian delegation that visited Emperor Charles I in Vienna, where he was decorated with the Cross of Kreshniks of Franz Joseph. He left Albania after the victory of the Democratic Revolution of June 1924. He returned at the end of that year as the head of several armed forces from Podgorica, in support of Ahmet Zogu. Minister of Internal Affairs (1926–1927, 1930–1935 and 1936–1939), Minister of Agriculture (1925–1927), Minister of Agriculture and Forestry (1928–1929), Minister of National Economy (1929) –1930), deputy (1926–1939). After the fascist invasion, he left Albania. Died in Alexandria, Egypt. (In the photo: Musa Juka)
