JamArbër Marko, poet and writer, son of Petro Marko, was born in Tirana. In 1974, he graduated in journalism. At the end of 1975, he was sentenced to seven years of imprisonment. He served his sentence in Spaç of Mirdita. He was released on bail in 1978, against a great sacrifice of his mother, Safo Marko. After his release, he worked as a loader at the ” Kinostudio ‘Shqipëria e Re’”. In 1991, he was disabled by a serious accident. He passed away in 2010. (In the photo: JamArbër Marko)
