He was born in Shkodër father, Gaspër Suma, a martyr of the Catholic Church. He studied in Shkodër and then in Vienna, Graz and Lankowitz in Austria. He studied theology in Shkodër and Genoa. He was ordained a priest in Genoa on July 24, 1921. He taught at the Seminary of the Minor Friars of Shkodra. He was a parish priest in Përshkash (1923–1924), Nikaj (1927–1931), Toplan (1932–1942), Theth (1942–1943), Hot and Rapshë (1943–1946), Gomsiqe (1946–1947). He was arrested in Gomsiqe and imprisoned in Shkodër on May 24, 1948. On August 22, 1949, he was imprisoned for three years. He passed away in 1950. (In the photo: Father Gaspër Suma)
