Was born Paul Maria Parrino (1710–1765), of Palazzo Adriano, Sicily. He was the rector of the Albanian Seminary of Palermo and one of the most worthy followers of the academic activity of Gjergj Guxeta. He is known as the author of a work of 600 pages remaining in manuscript, where in 12 chapters he scientifically argues, relying on linguistic and historical facts, the identity of Albanians and their Illyrian origin. For this reason, he is considered the founder of the Illyrian-Albanian romantic ideology. (In the photo: Group of Arbëresh in Italy.)
