Giuseppe de Rada

In Maki of Calabria (Italy), Zef (Giuseppe) de Rada, the first son of the poet Jeronim de Rada, was born. In the years 1869–1870 he studied at the college of Coriliano-Calabro, Italy. In 1871, he published “The Grammar of the Albanian Language” in Florence. This publication attracted the attention of foreign researchers and albanologists, such as Mikosic, Mejer, etc. Zef de Rada also published several poems, in which the motif of love prevails. He wrote several fairy tales in prose. He passed away in 1883, at the age of 31. (In the photo: Zef de Rada)
