Hasan Nallbani, a painter, one of the personalities of Albanian painting, and currently an active artist with contemporary visions, was born in Berat. Nallbani was part of the first group of students to graduated from the newly established High Institute of Arts in Tirana. This new generation of artists graduated in Albania and, with their creativity, created a new spirit in the conception and strengthening of the historical picture and the one with a contemporary Albanian theme.With their creativity, this new generation of artists brought a new spirit to the conception and strengthening of historical and contemporary Albanian-themed painting. During the years 1965–1990, he actively participated with his works in national exhibitions and competitions. Nallbani attracted the attention of critics at the time, especially as a powerful and impulsive colorist, distinctive in his compositions, but above all as a painter who knew how to benefit from the excellent tradition of Albanian iconographic art.
