Abdullah Tahiri, a political activist, martyr, the first initiator of the organization of the Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA) in Anamorava, was executed by the Serbian forces in Dubrava prison. He was born in the village of Malishevë in Gjilan. He attended high school in Gjilan, then continued his studies at the Faculty of Agriculture of the University of Pristina. He was one of the main organizers of the March and April 1981 demonstrations. Because of his activity, the former government arrested and sentenced him. With the beginning of the armed war, he was committed to organizing the Kosovo Liberation Army in Gjilan and Anamoravë. In the spring of 1998, he stayed several times at the General Staff of the Kosovo Liberation Army to coordinate the organization of the Karadak Operative Zone. He made connections with Eastern Kosovo and organized the first routes for the supply of weapons to this area. Because of this activity, he was arrested and sentenced to 4 years.
