Bardhyl Fico was born in Belgrade, cartoonist, screenwriter of cartoons, son of minister and diplomat Rauf Fico. He completed high school graduating as a construction technician and received higher education in engineering and mathematics-physics. After a short period as a construction technician, he worked for a long time as a cartoonist for “Hosteni” magazine, editor for “Shkenca dhe Jeta” (“Science and life”) magazine, etc. In addition to other extensive activities as a well-known cartoonist, he also wrote the scripts of five animated films, starting with “Të papriturat e pikaloshit” (“The surprises of the freckled boy”)(1983), then continuing with “Frymezimi” (“Inspiration”) (1986), “Robinsoni dhe Shpëtimtari” (“Robinson and the rescuer”)(1st and 2nd series, 1986–1987), “Të vogla dhe të mëdha” (“Small and big”)(1987). During the years 1992-1997, Bardhyl Fico held the position of Secretary of State for relations with religion. He passed away in 2015. (In the photo: Bardhyl Fico)
