The VII Attack Division of the Albanian National Liberation Army was formed. The following were lined up: II Assault Brigade, IX Assault Brigade and XX Assault Brigade. As part of the II Assault Corps, the VII Assault Division carried out combat duties in Southern and Central Albania, in the Berat and Elbasan counties, to protect the southern land border, to clear the country of the remnants of armed groups and to preserve strengthening of power. The headquarters of the VII Attack Division was headed by commander Panajot Plaku and commissar Gafur Çuçi. (In the photo: Partisans of the VII Assault Division.)
