In the place called Bokë e Devës (Gjakovë), on the road to the minefield by the Serbian forces, Sadedin Shehu, a fighter of the Kosovo Liberation Army, a martyr, was killed. He was born in Gjakovë, in 1958. He completed primary and secondary school in his hometown. At first he was employed in the company “Dukagjini” where he worked until 1981. For economic reasons, Sadedin Shehu was forced to emigrate to Belgium. He returned to Kosovo, leaving his wife and three children: two sons and a daughter. In June 1998, he joined the ranks of the Kosovo Liberation Army in Gllogjan, Deçan. Under the command of commander Ramush Haradinaj, Sadedin Shehu took part in all the battlefields of the Dukagjin Plain: in Junik, Kralan, Prejlep, Hereç, Gllogjan, Carrabreg, Jabllanicë, etc. However, his trips through the Albanian Alps, escorting people, but also supplying the population with weapons, were not few. He died in 1998 and his body was disappeared by Serbian forces. (In the photo: Sadedin Shehu)
