Lexo ngjarje:

Liza Laska, actress, “Merited Artist” was born in Vlora. From a young age, she stood out for her talent. She was a founding actress of the professional theater of Korça, playing leading roles, until 1962. From this year she became one of the first actresses to form the troupe of the Professional Theater of Vlora. She worked there until she retired. She has stood out especially in the roles of epic mothers, who suffer great tragedies and losses for their sons who fell for freedom; likewise, suffering and unfortunate women, stoically enduring the consequences of a life under violence; emancipated women or loving mothers and grandmothers. In addition to the main roles, Liza Laska has masterfully embodied a number of secondary and episodic roles, tracing life types and characters with a prominent originality. Her play stood out for truthfulness, deep realism, strength and emotional confusion, for drama and tragedy; sometimes it was permeated by lyrical and poetic tones, where the fineness of behavior and the fragility of feelings stood out. She possessed a warm, soft, melodious voice, with a clean sound and intonation of lab speech. In addition to the roles in the theater, Liza Laska has also performed 13 different roles in the cinematography, as a mother in “Shtigje lufte” (“War trails”) (1974), Mara in “Dimri i fundit” (“The last winter”) (1976), with which she won the Festival Medallion; the cleaner in “Lulëkuqe mbi mure” (“Red flowers on the walls”), 1976; Beluli’s mother in “Guna mbi tela” (“The cloaks on the wires”), 1977; Evgjenia in “Në prag të lirisë” (“On the threshold of freedom”), 1981; mother in “Vendimi” (“The Decision”), 1984; Aunt Sofia in “Gurët e shtëpisë sime” (“The stones of my house”), 1985; Boni’s friend in “Vdekja e burrit” (“The death of the man”), 1992, etc. She passed away in Vlora, in 2014.
