In Prizren, Kosovo, Bishop Nikollë Mini, a leader of the Catholic Church, passed away. He was born in Ferizaj in 1924. He completed his early education in his hometown and then continued in Skopje. He pursued his religious education at the Diocesan Seminary in Prizren, he completed the theological studies at the Pontifical Institute in Shkodër and the Faculty of Theology in Zagreb. He was ordained a priest in 1950 in Zagreb, and held his first mass at the Cathedral of Christ in Skopje. He served as a vicar and later was appointed parish priest in Guci, then in Novoselë, and later continued in Velezhë and Prizren. For the needs of the Catholic clergy in Albanian parishes, he prepared various texts and prayer books. In 1962, he began publishing the religious and cultural magazine “Zani i Zojës Cernagore,” and in 1970, he launched the first issue of the monthly magazine “Drita.” He also published a collection of church hymns titled “Kantuali Kishtar Shqiptar” (1974).
