In Vig of Mirdita, Ndoc Deda (1918–1944) was killed in a war with the forces of Gjon Marka Gjon. He is known for being a participant of the Anti-Fascist National Liberation War and a Hero of the People. He was born in Milot, in 1918. He carried out revolutionary activities in the ranks of the Albanian royal army. After the fascist invasion, he joined the National Liberation Antifascist Movement and joined the ranks of the partisan battalion “Perlat Rexhepi” of Shkodra (1943). Member of the Albanian Communist Party in 1943. Member of the unit that operated in the highlands of Dukagjin, Postriba, Vau of Deja, Lezha and Mirdita. (In the photo: Ndoc Deda)
