Lexo ngjarje:

Born in Lavdar of Opar, in the district of Korça, Marko Bitraku was an actor. He graduated from the Institute of Higher Arts in 1972 and began working as an actor at the “A. Z. Çajupi” theater in Korça, until 2004 when he moved to Tirana. He played over 80 roles, mostly types and characters that were always accompanied by light and a touch of humor, where layers of irony and sarcasm can also be easily observed. He stood out with the role of Stasi in the comedy “A Bride for Stasi” by T. Laço (1982), through which he created the character of an elderly bachelor with a strong complex of shyness due to hair loss. Later, he gracefully embodied the role of Dule in the drama “The Sons of Bato Gora” by R. Pulaha. Generally, he maintained his model as an actor with comedic charm, with a relaxed movement and expressive mimicry, natural and burlesque, which was evident in many characters he created in the productions of the Korça theater. With the role of a deputy in the comedy “O Deputy, O Liar” by Dh. Psathai (2002), he reached one of his best performances. He portrayed the type of a corrupt politician, mocking empty promises as well as the very mechanism of electoral campaigns, which produced deception and political fiction. Marko Bitraku has also appeared in 12 films, where he stood out for the authenticity and independence of the characters he created, even in supporting roles or with few lines. Among them: the chief herdsman in “The Teacher” (1979), the villager in “Who Dies Standing” (1984), the geography teacher in “Slogans” (2002), and Sami in “Dear Enemy” (2004). From time to time, he is active in humorous shows and segments on various television stations. (In the photo: Marko Bitraku)
