Hallaq Massacre

Lexo ngjarje:

The “Hallaq Massacre” occurred on April 19, 1999, when Serbian army and police forces continued their brutal campaign against Albanian civilians in the village of Hallaq i Vogël in the municipality of Lipjan, just one day after the massacre in Ribar i Vogël. During this attack, 20 Albanians were killed, including two who were burned alive in a room for men. Of the 40 men who were gathered, 13 were executed in front of their families, with 2 of them managing to escape despite severe injuries. One villager was burned alive after the massacre, and another had his hand severed and an eye gouged out before being shot. The survivors of the massacre were taken to the village of Krojmir in Lipjan, where they received medical treatment from Kosovo Liberation Army doctors. (In the photo: View of Hallaq village.)
