Roland Koça, actor, was born in Tirana. He completed high school in Durrës. In 1974, he was admitted to the theater studio at the People’s Theater. As an actor, he emerged from the amateur movement. In May 1973, he was appointed a professional actor in the Durrës Estrada. He has performed leading roles in about 100 premieres of this variety show or other performances, mainly in one-act comedies, skits, monologues, dialogues, parodies, and couplets.
His performances are distinguished by the portrayal of unique character types, often calm and seemingly naive, slow and clumsy, sometimes crippled or with physical defects in speech, etc. On stage, he is self-confident, skillfully using facial expressions and body language, particularly his confused gaze, and creates a natural interaction with his co-actors.
