Tonin Ujka, an actor, was born in Shkodër. He completed his university studies from 1960 to 1964 and was subsequently appoionted as an actor at the “Migjeni” Theater in Shkodër. IDuring the 1970-1971 academic year, he completed a one-year cose in directing. From 1994 to 1996, he served as a deputy of the Democratic Party in the People’s Assembly, and from 1996 to 1997, he was the director of the National Theatre. Tonin Ujka also acted in 10 films. As an actor, he emphasized the logical progression of his characters’ actions and sought to explore the deeper meanings of speech and dialogue through the use of irony and oppositions in the adaptation and portrayal of stage imagery.
