Skender Demolli, humorist writer, comedy writer, was born in Korçë. He completed his higher studies at the Higher Agricultural Institute in Tirana (today: Agricultural University) in 1976, but his talent led him to comedic literature and dramaturgy, where he attended a postgraduate course in dramaturgy in the academic year 1984-1985. His first book is “Fable“, 1986; then published novels, fables and stories for children. In addition to comedies, he has adapted several Greek films into comedies, rewriting them filled with characters and subjects of Albanian life. His comedies are notable for their sharpness, pleasant situations, surprises, rich vocabulary, as well as a sharp irony, which naturally goes towards satire in the discovery of negative phenomena, vices and low behavior of people, especially the severe deformities that have occurred in the Albanian society after the 90s in the period of transition and social anarchy.
