Adrian Krasniqi, fighter of the Kosovo Liberation Army, Hero of Kosovo, was killed in Kliçinë of Pejë (Kosovo). He was born in Vranoc, Peja, in 1972. In 1993, he stopped his studies and went underground. At the beginning of the 90s of the 20th century, he was included in the ranks of the People’s Movement for the Republic of Kosovo. He was one of the fighters of the first cells of the Kosovo Liberation Army. The unit of the Kosovo Liberation Army led by him for the first time in Kosovo, brought and put into use the anti-tank mortars (500), which were used for the first time in September 1997. He was martyred during the attack undertaken against the Serbian police command post in Kliçinë of Peja, in 1997. On the 12th anniversary of his fall, the Monument of Adrian Krasniqi was established in the city of Peja, while the President of Kosovo decorated him with the “Hero of Kosovo” order.
