Arqile Nasho, an actor, was born in Vlorë. After graduating from the Higher Institute of Arts in 1967, he began working as an actor at the Professional Theater of Vlorë and continued there until his retirement. He was a leading actor in this theater, performing over 45 roles, most of them starring roles of heroes, kind-hearted individuals, beloved fathers, virtuous friends, or characters with dramatic undertones, moral dilemmas, and spiritual fluctuations. Arqile Nasho is distinguished by a performance marked by strong emotional accents, epic-dramatic signifying (which often characterized his acting), flexible and distinctive plasticity, and organic transitions from the dramatic to the comic and vice versa. He employed foregrounds, emotional silences, and contrasts between what is said and what is done (its expression). He has a full and warm voice. His good technique in stage speech has aided him in creating nuances and intonative colors of his roles, aligning with emotional situations.
