Bajram Sylejmani, a fighter of the Kosovo Liberation Army, a martyr, was killed at the war front. He was born in the village of Sodovinë in Jerlivë of Viti, in 1965. He completed primary schooling in the village of his birth and in Gushicë, secondary school in Viti. Attended the Faculty of Mining and Metallurgy of Mitrovica, branch of geology, in 1991. In September 1998, he was imprisoned together with his brother, Gursel. From the end of the 80s of the 20th century, he was active in patriotic activities, especially in the organization of the student strike in February 1989, as a sign of solidarity with the miners’ strike in Stantërg. After graduation, together with his brother Gursel, they opened a design workshop. With the outbreak of the war of the Kosovo Liberation Army, he lined up in the first ranks of the Operative Zone of Nerodime, where he was assigned to leadership duties.
