Bardhyl Fico, a cartoonist, caricaturist, and screenplay writer of animated films, son of the minister and diplomat Rauf Fico, passed away. He was born in Belgrade in 1932. He completed high school, graduating as a construction technician, and continued his higher education in engineering and mathematics-physics. After a brief period as a construction technician, he worked for a long time as a cartoonist for the magazine “Hosteni” and as an editor for the magazine “Shkenca dhe jeta” (Science and Life), among others. Besides his wide-ranging activity as a renowned cartoonist, he also wrote the screenplays for five animated films, starting with “Të papriturat e pikaloshit” (“The surprises of the freckled boy”) (1983) and continuing with “Frymëzimi” (“Inspiration”) (1986), “Robinsoni dhe shpëtimtari” (“Robinson and the Rescuer”) (1st and 2nd series, 1986–1987), “Të vogla dhe të mëdha” (“Small and Big”) (1987).
