Burbuqe Berisha, director, producer, passed away in Pristina. She was born in Skopje, in 1970. She completed her primary and secondary education in Pristina. She completed her film directing studies at the Faculty of Arts of the University of Pristina. She is the author of short documentaries and television films. She also directed in the theater. She worked as a producer at “Kosovafilm” and was a director at the National Theater of Kosovo. Some of her achievements are: “Lexi në qytet” (“Lexi in the city”) in ten episodes, “Ashensori“ (“The elevator”), “Kosova 9/11” (“Kosovo 9/11”), “Ëndrra“ (“Dreams”), “Dimni i shpirtit“ (“Winter of the soul”), “Viti 2000″ (“Year 2000”), “Gratë“ (“Women”), etc. Among her documentary films, “Për Jusuf Gërvallën“, (“For Jusuf Gërvalla”) “Universiteti nëpër vite” (“University over the years”), “Harmonika” (“Harmonica”), “Të rritur në rrugë“ (“Raised in the streets”) etc. stand out. She has done several theater performances, among which stand out: “Një çaj me Hillaryn“ (“A tea with Hilary”), “Revolveri“ (“The revolver”), “Darka private“ (“Private dinner”) etc. (In the photo: Burbuqe Berisha)
