In Shkodër, Dom Luigj Kçira, a Catholic clergyman, passed away. He was born in 1925. He received his first lessons at the “Illyricum” high school in Shkodër. He was arrested on November 27, 1945, together with many other young people, all members of the “Bashkimi Shqiptar” (“The Albanian union”) organization. On January 28, 1946, he was sentenced to 20 years of imprisonment. He was released at the end of ten years and on March 24, 1963 he was ordained by Monsignor Ernest Çoba, but he celebrated the first mass only on March 13, 1991, in the church of Zoja Rruzare in Arra e Madhe.
