Enver Dauti, comedian, “Merited Artist”, passed away. He was born in Tirana, in 1927. He became active as an amateur in the theater groups of Tirana since the first years of liberation. For his talent as a comedian, in 1957 he was drawn to the professional troupe of the State Estrada, where he worked until he retired in 1983. There he played many roles from different social strata and different historical periods. As an actor of the variety profile, he acquired and tried various aspects of this theater, such as skits, dialogues, monologues, parodies, pantomimes, etc. His humor was natural, effortless; he frequently used the expressive gesture, emphasizing the word or sentence where the humor originated, which hid a comic contrast. In addition to the many characters he created in his nearly 50-year career in short comedy genres on the variety theatre stage, he also played in 11 films, where he is remembered for his comic roles in the films “Odisea e tifozëve” (1972), “Kur hiqen maskat” (1975), “Cirku në fshat” (1977), “Lulëkuqet mbi mure” (1976) (“The odyssey of the fans” (1972), “When the masks are removed” (1975), “Circus in the village” (1977), “Red flowers on the walls” (1976)) etc. (In the photo: Enver Dauti)
