Jamarbër Marko, poet and writer, son of Petro Marko, passed away. He was born in Tirana in 1951. In 1974 he graduated in journalism. At the end of 1975, he was sentenced to seven years of imprisonment. He served his sentence in Spaç of Mirdita. He was released in 1978 on bail for the great sacrifice of his mother, Safo Marko. After his release, he worked as a porter at the “Shqipëria e Re” film studio. In 1991, he was disabled by a serious accident. (In the photo: Jamarbër Marko)
