Pashko Çomo, a newsreel and documentary film operator, was born in Tirana. After completing a one-year course at the Central Documentary Film Studio in Moscow, he began working at Kinostudio in 1954 as a sound writing technician. However, he quickly transitioned to assistant and later as an operator for newsreels. He has shot hundreds of subjects for newsreel documentaries and has realized around 100 newsreels and documentaries, either on his own or as a co-author. His first film was “Corn” in 1959. He filmed numerous educational or popular scientific films, such as: “Getting to Know Our Agricultural Land Better,” “Organic Fertilizers,” “The Fight for Bread,” “A Glorious Page of Our History,” and “Unity That Overcomes Earthquakes,” among others.
